Our youngest musicians begin in a group piano readiness class where they learn skills that will ensure their success at playing the piano. From there they progress to private lessons with our teachers. Music theory and ear training are reinforced at our computer center after lessons.
Once basic skills are mastered children are encouraged to participate in duet teams. Developing friendships among fellow musicians is strongly encouraged!
At Willow Music we have 2 recitals per year, in December and May. We also participate in National Guild Auditions, in which students play for a judge for an evaluation. New for 2009 will be our duet recital.
